Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You season 2 announced

Kenji Hata’s slice-of-life and rom-com genre anime title Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You has officially announced the second season on 6 November 2022, along with PV as the production house for the anime. 

The official series website, along with Warner Bros and Japan’s YouTube channel, has unveiled the second trailer for the anime title “Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You” season 2 by announcing its release year, which will be the year 2023.

The cast and staff for the anime’s first season will return for the sequel of season 2 and the production house named “Seven Arcs.” 

The returning staff of season 1 consists of the director, Hiroshi Ikehata, Kazuha Hyoudou as the series compositor, Masakatsu Sasaki as the character designer, and Endou as the music composer for the series.

Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You (special episode: Uniform) will be streaming on Crunchyroll

The special episode of the anime series “Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You” – named “Seifuku,” which is also called “uniform” is being released in Japan on 22 November. 

Crunchyroll is also streaming the special episode in a few territories around the globe, along with the sequel for the anime that will be released in 2023. The OTT giant had given the license for the first season on the Anime Expo Lite in 2020 and streamed the anime from 3 October to 19 December 2020.

The first season of the anime “Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You” is available on the streaming app Crunchyroll in countries like Central America, North America, South America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Oceania, and also CIS. 

The OTT platforms had unveiled that the second season of the anime “Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You” will also have overseas distribution, which will remain the same as usual.

Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You Season 1 rewind

The anime plot revolves around a genius kid named Nasa. His parents had named him “Nasa” because he felt connected to outer space. It became his only passion for going to  “NASA” even though he thoroughly didn’t want to be a scientist.

He put in the effort to make the space program veer off course. Still, as he was following his path, he came across an accident, due to which he met Tsukasa, a very mysterious and beautiful girl. He proposed to her on the first meeting, and His path changed forever.
