About Trigun Stampede
Circus is an adaptation of the original TV anime released in Japan for 26 days in 1998. The anime was released for home video in North America. Geneon Entertainment (formerly Pioneer) released the series on DVD first, while Funimation has since been certified and released the series on Blu-Shaft Slice and DVD.
The manga was serialized in Tokuma Shoten’s Monthly Shonen Captain from 1995 to 1997. The manga last came back in 1997 in Shonen Gahosha’s Young King Ours magazine with Trigun Maximum and ran until 2007. The series is now streaming on Crunchyroll after Sony’s Funimation Global Group acquired him from AT&T. Cartoon Network’s Adult Knockout programming block released the anime in 2003.
The Trigun Badlands Rumble was released in April 2010 and was the first new installment in the franchise over the decade of its release. Dark Horse Comics published the manga in English. Vash earned his last name, “Rush,” thanks to the destruction his Nimrod wreaked, a bounty zealous in every community he visits.
The Trigun Badlands Rumble animated film debuted in April 2010 and was his first new Trigun Vitality in over a decade.
The original is a work by cartoonist Naito and director Satoshi Nishimura. Although the anime’s world premiere took place at Sakura-Con in April 2010, anime studio Madhouse’s design plans date back to 2005. Cartoon Network’s Toonami programming block also cleared the film.
