Eiyū-Ō, Bu o Kiwameru Tame Tensei-Su, or often called Reborn to Master the Blade is a light novel series written by Hayaken and illustrated by Nagu.
The light novel began serialization in March 2019, and now, the producers have announced an anime adaptation which is in work right now.
The information came with the release of the 6th volume of the light novel. The newest volume goes are on sale from December 1st, 2021. Viewers coming from the anime might already know that this is not the first anime from the Reborn to Master the Blade series.
The producers have already released a mini-series with only 2 episodes on the official channel.
These two episodes are available on the internet. However, the mini-series does not follow the light novel and focuses more on the characters of the light novel.
The upcoming anime adaptation will follow the same story as the light novel.
Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire follows the story of a gender-bender type comedy mixed with the isekai genre.
The same things we’ve seen with “That time i was reincarnated as a slime”, “The Saga of Tanya the Evil”, and other isekai anime.
The news comes from the official Twitter account of Hobby Japan’s HJ Bunko, where he tweeted about the anime adaptation being in the work.
Since then, the light novel readers are looking forward to the anime adaptation of Reborn to Master the Blade.
The new series will be different from the last two episodes of the anime adaption, and it is not clear who’ll voice the characters because the mini-series featured Akari Kitō as Inglis and Ai Kakuma as Rafinia.
