Anime fans looking for a fresh post-apocalyptic adventure have another reason to check out Crunchyroll this weekend. #I’m Looking For a Zombie is getting an English dub alongside its October 3 premiere, bringing the zombie-filled series to English-speaking viewers from day one.
The anime follows Aki, a girl who grew up in a world where the zombie apocalypse is already part of history. Thirteen years after a devastating outbreak known as Red Day wiped out most of humanity and turned the dead into zombies, Aki sets out from her sheltered village with her friends Haru and Natsuki.
Their goal is personal: they are searching for Aki’s missing father. But leaving the safety of their home quickly introduces them to the reality of the world outside. The group soon encounters zombies and eventually crosses paths with Yuu and Sakura, turning their journey into something much more dangerous than a simple search mission.
I’m Looking For a Zombie English Dub Cast Revealed

The English version features Madeline Dorroh as Aki, with Arianna Contardo playing Natsuki. Blythe Melin voices Haru, while Giselle Fernandez takes the role of Yuu.
The supporting cast includes Anairis Quiñones as Sakura and Christopher W. Jones as Aki’s father.
VSI Los Angeles is producing the dub. Gavin Cooper Harrison serves as the dubbing director and casting lead, while Rachel Robinson handles the script adaptation.
When Does the English Dub Release?
The English dub is scheduled to debut on Crunchyroll on October 3, the same day the anime begins its release.
That makes #I’m Looking For a Zombie one of the more interesting new additions to the Fall 2026 anime lineup for viewers who prefer watching their seasonal shows in English.
Studio Comet animates the series, which is based on the manga by Katsuwo. Its mix of survival, adventure, comedy, and zombie horror gives it a somewhat different flavor from the more conventional dark apocalypse stories.
With Aki and her friends stepping into a world they only know from stories, the series has plenty of room to explore both the dangers of the zombie-infested cities and what life was like before the outbreak.
