Stray Kids is an eight-member Boyband (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, I.N, Seungmin, Han, and Felix. On Spotify, the South Korean boy band has over 2 billion listens! Stray Kids are the first fourth-generation K-pop group to achieve this feat.

The group joins BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, and EXO as the fifth Korean act to reach this milestone. 

Stray Kids, according to reports, have the most prominent monthly listener peak of any fourth-generation band on Spotify. By recently topping 6.5 million followers on Spotify, the group has extended its record as the most followed fourth-generation K-pop idol group.

Not only that, but Stray Kids are the third most popular boy band in Korea.

Stay Kids’ repackaged album ‘IN (In Life)’ has already surpassed 500 million Spotify streams earlier in December 2021.

Following this significant achievement, Spotify has revealed that Stray Kids have hit yet another high point on the worldwide streaming platform.

Aespa

SM’s rookie girl group, consisting of four members (Karina, Giselle, Winter, and NingNing), has all it takes to become a top female idol group. The band has made a name for themselves among 4th generation idols and the Kpop industry.

Despite the mixed reviews, Aespa is still going strong and had a successful 2021, demonstrating its individuality among major Kpop groups. With Black Mamba, SM’s long-awaited new female group debuted on November 17, 2020.

Tomorrow X Together (TXT)

TXT is a five-member boyband with Yeonjun as the leader and Soobin, Taehyun, Boemgyu, and HueningKai under the HYBE label. TXT’s current album is still climbing the Billboard charts over two months after being released.

TXT’s second studio album, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE,” released on May 31, was the first K-pop album to spend seven weeks on the Billboard 200 in 2021. Meanwhile, TXT’s viral B-side “Anti-Romantic” debuted at No. 22 on the Global Digital Single Sales list this week, tying BTS’ “Film Out.” and TXT’s title track “0X1 = LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” for the longest-running 2021 song on the Korean act charts.

Since their debut, TXT has been wowing listeners with their music, and they continue to prove that they’re worthy performers, composers, and artists with a slew of tracks ranging from bright pop “Crown” to deep rock “LO$ER=LOER.”

ENHYPEN

Enhypen is a seven-member boy band under Belift Lab. Belift Lab, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Hybe Corporation, established the South Korean boy band ENHYPEN.

Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki are the members of the band, which was formed through the 2020 survival challenge show ‘I-Land.’ The group was formed through the reality show I-Land.

They officially debuted on November 30, 2020, with their mini-album Border: Day One.

ENHYPEN is not only flourishing in their native nation of South Korea, but they are blowing most other groups out of the water less than a year into their career as a musical act creating popular music.

The band has just produced two short albums, but they already can sell like a band that has been dominating the domestic charts for an extended period.

With this album, ENHYPEN demonstrated its exceptional worldwide strength by topping the weekly global chart for four weeks, from the third week of January to the second week of February.

Drunk-Dazed’ from the second mini-album ‘BORDER: CARNIVAL’ has achieved 100 million Spotify streams, becoming the second track after ‘Fever.’

The super rookie group also becomes the first 4th generation K-pop group to reach 7.5 million monthly app listeners and the fastest K-pop musicians to reach 700 million total streams.

In the second week of February, ENHYPEN rose to the top of the Hanteo Chart.

The Weekly Physical Album Chart and Weekly Global Chart have been launched by Hanteo Chart, the world’s only real-time music chart. ENHYPEN’s ‘DIMENSION: ANSWER’ topped the global weekly chart.
