Kpop diets are no joke. Some of these dieting plans can make you faint, or you might lose weight at an exponential level. I am no genius in dieting and exercise because I like my food above everything else. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t appreciate what Kpop idols go throw to get in the perfect shape. Idols like Lisa from BLACKPINK and Jimin from BTS look almost like the ideal human being, despite being petite and on a diet.

After researching for hours, or maybe days, I finally found some Kpop dieting plans for some of your favorite K-pop idols, and in this post, we’re going to look at some of them. Before starting this article, as a personal note, I would like to advise you that do not to follow these Kpop idol diets as they are rigorous and everyone has their endurance to food and dieting. With that being said, here are six Kpop idols’ diets that will literally give you more than you ask for.
Jennie’s diet plans don’t come with flavors
BLACKPINK is one of the most popular and successful Kpop groups in the current scenario. The group consists of 4 members, and all of them are equally talented and hardworking. Among them, Jennie’s diet plan includes morning oatmeal without any sort of flavor in it.
She doesn’t add any toppings or garnishing because that’ll increase the calories intake. For her lunch, she usually has a salad without any salt. Jennie usually prefers the same salad for dinner, so she eats tasteless food to keep doing what she is known for.
IU’s diet plans will give you nighmares
IU is probably my favorite Kpop soloist and my favorite actress from Korean dramas. Talking about Korean dramas, check out this list for supernatural Korean dramas like Goblin and Hotel Del Luna. Coming back to the topic, IU has been following a classic diet to lose weight and still look fresh and young.
I am not sure what her diet is right now, but IU’s extreme diet includes a single apple for breakfast followed by sweet potato in lunch. As for dinner, she only drinks a protein shake. Well, that’s all in the past because IU recently requested people not to follow such extreme diets and what she did was back in her 20s.

BTS’s V has the most normal diet
Unlike other Kpop idols on this list, Kim Tae-Hyung, popularly known as V, starts his day with a bowl of cereal filled with banana toppings and other fruits that tastes good. According to the internet, V uses wheat-based cereal for his morning supper and goes above and beyond for his lunch hours.
V usually likes pork, rice, and vegetables for lunch, which in my opinion, are pretty heavy and you’ll need a good amount of exercise after eating that. V usually has tofu and fish for his dinner, suitable for your skin and hair.
So, to sum up, V eats whatever he wants and still manages to stay in shape, like the rest of the members.
Jihyo’s diet requires patience and consistency
Unlike IU’s diet plan, which was hard to follow and easy to give up, TWICE’s Jihyo diet plan is something anybody can follow.
By anybody, I mean people who exercise daily and maintain an even shape for their bodies. For breakfast, Jihyo follows through with a simple over-easy egg and toast. For lunch, Jihyo likes chicken soup, salad, and noodles.
Now, this is something I can follow! And I know you can too! Jihyo likes to eat fish and salad for dinner, which is again a great combination since we’re not losing in for the taste.
Lia’s diet includes flavor, salt, and meat
ITZY has some of the fittest members in the current Kpop scene, given that most of its members are in their early 20s. Lia’s dieting plans can easily be accomplished because she doesn’t eat anything out of the ordinary.
What important here is that most K-pop idols maintain their slim physique because they indulge in physical activity for almost 10 hours a day. For her breakfast, Lia eats fruits, fish, and rice. I know it’s a weird combination, but this is all I can find for Lia’s dieting plans.
For lunch, she usually snacks on healthy food like tomato and honey syrup. For dinner, Lia digs in fried rice, egg, and kimchi.
Soyou’s diet is not easy to follow
Some of these diets are so extreme that ordinary people can’t even try them, but here we are checking out these Kpop diets from your favorite Kpop idols. Sistar is a South Korean group consisting of Hyolyn, Bora, Soyou, and Dasom.
According to the news outlets, Sistar’s member Soyou once had an intense diet session, helping her to lose almost 8 kilograms of weight.
Soyou used to eat only one meal a day, consisting of four quail eggs without the yolk and a glass of milk. She even worked out during her diet, making her skinny to fit the role.
