What Is MAPPA?
Maruyama Animation Produce Project Association or MAPPA, a Japanese animation studio. Founded on the 14th of June 2011 by Masao Maruyama. Masao Maruyama, a former producer and the founder of a well-known studio called Madhouse.
Famous anime produced by Madhouse, Hunter x Hunter, No Game No Life, One Punch Man, Death Note, Parasyte: The Maxim, etc.
MAPPA, with its brilliant animation, has amazed us every single time. It is now one of the busiest studios in Japan. Its popularity reached heights after the release of the final season of Attack on Titan in 2020 with its excellent animation.
MAPPA masterpieces that made everyone a fan: Dororo, The God of Highschool, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kakegurui, Banana Fish, Hajime no Ippo, and more.
In this small abstract, we will discuss the upcoming projects by MAPPA.
So far in 2021, we’ve got Three anime: Zombieland Saga Revenge, Re-Main, and Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi.
To Be Released In 2021
With Akt Op. Unmei wa Akaki Senritsu no Machi o (Takt Op. Destiny in the City of Crimson Melody) releasing on the 5th of October 2021.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie will be released on the 24th of December 2021.
To Be Released In 2022
Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 in January.
Confirmed Animation
Under this section, I’ll include the confirmed projects taken by MAPPA, which do not have a confirmed release date yet. Those are, Chainsaw Man, Alice and Therese’s Illusion Factory, and Yuri!!! On Ice the Movie: Ice Adolescence.
Before you get excited, the journey of this patience is going to be a long one and definitely not a pleasant one. If this has already got you on the edge, I’d recommend you better start reading the manga because I have already.
