Yahallo, this is me again. Welcome to the 15th episode of my weekly anime recommendation series and today, we have a special dish to serve. Last year, the only thing that kept the anime community on their toes after Covid was the Tower Of God. A show that was so distinctive in the art style that it went on to win hearts and introduced us to the world of Korean comics or manhwas.

The main plot of the story revolves around a boy named Bam, and how he transits from being a helpless boy to the protagonist of the story. Born without any powers or athletic abilities, people thought Bam will not survive in the fictional world of towers. But he did!

Bam’s story starts when he meets Rachel, a young girl who saves him from starvation and lives with him, teaching him to eat, survive and dream. Several years later, Rachel goes on to climb the tower in order to fulfill her wishes.

Bam did the same, but his intent was not to climb it but to meet Rachel once again. The story gets more complicated when Bam finally meets Rachel. And from there, it’s a downhill spiral.

Now coming to the topic, how should you watch this show, I suggest, watching the anime adaption first and then move to the manhwa to connect all the loose ends in the story.

So that’s all folks. My name is Ashish and I am glad that we are keeping OTAKUSMART alive in these hard times. I will try to churn out more content on the website so that you get more anime recommendations every week. Signing off!
