Recently, the announcement for a new manga project, “Blue Exorcist,” also popularly known as “Ao No Exorcist,” was unveiled at Jump Festa 2023.

It will be the brand new season of The Blue Exorcist, but fans are still assuming this season will be a reboot version of the anime adaptation or whether it will follow where season 1 of the anime was left off.

There is anticipation yet curiosity about whether it will be back with the same plot or whether there will be a change in this new season.

To be clear, no official announcement on Twitter or the website has yet been made. But still, a promotional or teaser video is being released along with the announcement for the new season of the anime adaptation.

Staff Members

Many voice artists from the anime Blue Exorcist were present during the event. No doubt the event got more exciting because of that. 

The few members who attended the panel were Nobuhiko Okamoto as Rin Okumura, Jun Fukuyama as Yukio Okumura, Kana Hanazawa as Shiemi Moriyama, and Eri Kitamura as Izumo Kamiki. 

They shared their experience and journey of working with their fans at the event.

Synopsis

For those who need to be aware of the plot of the first season of anime, here is a basic summary of the series. The story revolves around our main protagonist, Rin Okumura, and his only twin brother, Yukio. 

They soon discovered that they were sons of Satan born from humans (female). Hence, they inherit his power. But as the story progresses, Satan kills the Guardian, which causes Rin to want to kill his father and enroll at True Cross Academy, where only elite children are allowed to learn magic.

Conclusion

Well, if most fans, after the announcement of the series, come back after a year, they expect that Season 3 of the anime will be released.
