Balmain has dropped the biggest collaboration of 2022. Balmain and Pokémon have teamed up for a limited edition streetwear capsule. The Balmain X Pokémon collection includes unisex sneakers, T-shirts, jackets, jeans, and accessories. Moreover, the French luxury fashion house has teamed up with Pokémon Unite for new fashion items available inside the game.

After dropping the Balmain unicorn collection, which is basically making a return for Balmain Fall 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection with new aesthetics, the fashion house is moving towards its next big campaign. This time, the limited edition capsules will target anime and gaming fans with a particular emphasis on Pokémon fandoms.
The Pokémon x Balmain Trainer Fashion Set collection comprises 12 clothing and accessories available between USD 500 and USD 2,395. According to the company post, the Balmain X Pokémon will be available at the Parisien fashion house’s flagship stores. Those who want to buy them online can visit Balmain’s website.
The company dropped the teaser for the collection on September 1st, 2022. Last month, Balmain announced the limited edition UNICORN collection, consisting of low-top sneakers under USD 1500. On September 1st, the luxury fashion house dropped another limited edition capsule consisting of high-end fashion togs, including the ever-famous Pikachu and a unique blend of pop colors and abstracts.

Pokémon print denim jacket
The jacket has two flat flap chest pockets and comes in faded denim color. It also has two zip pocketed, buttoned cuffs on both the arms and a white vector Pokémon print on the back.
Oversized Pokémon print shirt
The shirt has two different prints on both sides. The loose-fit shirt has board short sleeves and comes with a printed Pikachu on one side. The overall shirt follows a symmetrical pattern and black Pikachu’s on the front and the back.
Leather B-Bold low-top sneakers
Perhaps the funkiest item from the Pokémon x Balmain Trainer set is the Leather B-Bold low-top sneakers. The sneakers used a multi-color scheme with a yellow panel with an embossed Balmain logo. The shoe upper has a white lighting bolt cut out that resembles Pikachu’s thunderbolt.
Unisex – Leather card holder
The Calfskin cardholder uses a leather shoulder strap and multiple card slots to keep your credit cards, debit cards, and business cards safe. The yellow strap and the mix of shiny black colors bring out the essence of the two giants in their respective fields of entertainment and fashion.
